great locationhot roomno fan
the location was acceptable as it was close to san marco and the grand canal.
the room proved quite stuffy and hot. there was no air conditioning as it gets turned off on october 15th. the hotel also did not provide a fan for use. this made sleeping difficult.

the location is very central. it is close to the vaporetto stop number one and the airport boat link (a major plus for arrival and departure). the staff are friendly and helpful. the room was a good size.
the breakfast was simple. you need to order it the evening before with an option to have it in the room. i found this a bit inconvenient as i like to decide in the morning.

the staff greets everyone with a smile and helps with everything they can. i was allowed into the room a bit earlier. the hotel allowed me to keep luggage before check-in and after check-out.

the hotel is right in the city center, a short walk from the water bus stop. this stop provides a direct connection to the airport (very handy). nearby are also various shops and restaurants.
